Today is the last day to submit comments about Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) applications. East-West Gateway is looking for your thoughts on 27 applications for a variety of transportation projects such as pedestrian and bicycle facilities, safe routes to school projects, community improvements such as historic preservation and vegetation management, and environmental mitigation related to stormwater and habitat. Comments can be emailed to TIP@swgateway.org or through the East-West Gateway Comment Form.
After the public comment period closes, EWG staff will evaluate the applications and present their assessment to the Transportation Planning Committe for funding recommendations in early October. The East-West Gateway Board of Directors will vote on the recommendations at its January 31, 2024, meeting.
