Communicating About Traffic Violence
The media, including newspapers, the radio, and television, are incredibly important in raising awareness about traffic violence. Traffic violence is the epidemic of death and serious injuries that are caused by car-related collisions. To help reporters and journalists in the St. Louis region, our practicum student Xandi Barnett put together a toolkit called “Reporting to end traffic violence in St. Louis.” The toolkit outlines best practices, data, and resources for reports.
